Laslo Benedek

Laslo Benedek, a Hungarian writer, editor, and photographer, was brought to Hollywood by MGM. After early undistinguished films, he directed Death of a Salesman (1951), drawing strong performances despite criticism for its theatricality. His most famous film, The Wild One (1953), became a cultural milestone, influencing generations despite being tame by modern standards.
